Honestly, I just can’t. I added another couple to my “fight all impossibilities” list (it’s long FYI). Red Riding Hood is definitely a recommend for anyone who likes romance - I’ve always been a sucker for them so this may be a movie I buy on Itunes..etc. For anyone who knows me, this means a lot.
Throughout the movie I couldn’t help thinking of all the other shows/movies/books that I’ve fallen in love with just because the couple has to overcome massive obstacles to be with one another. For me it started with Buffy & Angel (see their sexiness below).
Their love still brings me to tears because as any fan would know she’s the slayer and he’s a vampire <—- DOOMED FROM THE BEGINNING. (But I wont go there).
Then came middle school where I had to read Romeo & Juliet (LOVE). Star-crossed lovers who can’t be with one other because of a family feud - WHAT?! Super drama, I ate that puppy right up. Unfortunately they both died at the end.
Two years ago I added Edward and Bella on my list (book version not the movies) - and we finally get a somewhat happy ending!! They end up being together as vampires in the end. The only thing I did not like was that they had a kid.
Peter & Valerie are now my favorite. Not only had they been crushing on one another since they were tots, but he goes out of his way to be with her. *SPOILER ALERT* At the very end of the movie he gets bit by the werewolf and therefore becomes one, therefore dooming any normal relationship he can have with her. There is a happy ending though: homie learns how to control himself and comes back to be with her. ULTIMATE SWOON.

Walking down memory lane with this picture. This was taken at my first sorority formal. The esposito was ultra romantic and surprised me by showing up at the dance, on the boat! I was completely and totally surprised too, he’s a sneaky romantic! and I’m so glad to have him
