Today after spin class one of my managers mentioned I was the least competitive person because I’m always helping others.
I definitely consider myself one to help others. As a manager, helping my team is one of my favorite parts of the job, but does that attitude hinder my ability? No. I don’t think so. If anything, it makes me a stronger leader.
Competition is healthy. Always strive to be better, faster, stronger… But instead of comparing yourself to others, compare yourself to your past self. Do your best and improve on yesterday. The only way to improve yourself is to push your own limits.
So even though you may not see me talk smack to another team - know this - I’ll always be pushing myself to the better.
Let your love be so strong it helps someone who has fallen from weakness
Let love overflow so that it helps fill another’s cup
Love supports, not replaces.
Compliments and not dominates.
Remember there are always two who make each other better and not complete each other.
Kick dust and I’m yours. Think of me fondly as I do you. No negative thoughts just lessons learned
Lessons which we can both apply to our future.
I love you
I miss you
Someone close to me recently said I would never be able to remedy a broken relationship. Completely discouraged me saying that what is broken can never be mended.
In all honesty, I stayed silent and let the kid finish his speech. It was only fair to hear his reasoning as a third party. But, never underestimate or discourage me. If I feel strongly about it, I will pursue. And I feel adamant about this.
